This Symposium aims to announce to kick off and develop " East Asia Environmental Strategist Training Program " (Scheduled period: from 2010 to 2014), organized by Research institute for East Asia Environment (RIEAE) of Kyushu University. This program is supported by Special Coordination Funds for Promoting Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology .
The program offers the interdisciplinary and multifaceted approaches as well as inter-regional resonance by building partnerships with industry, government and University, and promoting education programs throughout Asia to tackle East Asia challenges.
Environmental specialist in this programme must have a wide range of knowledge about technologies and systems concerning the fact of the environmental problem in East Asia. In addition, it is expected that the program graduates would be formulate environmental measures and be a leadership position in Government, research institutions and companies.
RIEAE is proud to host an International symposium to discuss the challenges and opportunities of " East Asia Environmental Strategist Training Education " .
